And on 15 Feb, 2nd day of new year, we brought ris to UK funfair at uncle ringo + He Pang at marina bay. Was not really keen to go as im the lazy aunty who hates sun and hot places. But yeah i enjoyed myself :)

Won a HUGE monkey at a lucky strike of darts, and hubby won a ben 10 plastic bag hahahahha.. And he also won a tiny monkey which ris is holding by shooting the ping pong on top of the bottle.



And boy how time flies, Rislin is ONE already.. We celebrated her birthday on 16 feb with a party and it was disappointing whereby i invited about 10 friends, 1 turned up. The other 9? Last minute said, sorry i cant come. Whereby its BULLSHIT. People prepared about 20 people`s food and only 11 people showed up and thankgod the 11 ate alot so there were NOT so much leftovers. Its horrible. Hello, food need to spend $. I dont give any hoots if i dont spend ANY money at the party! But Food needs $..

And the best of all the "best"? She told me she was sick for 2 days and vomitting and bla bla bla never used the phone, oh yes so a 5 second message to say sorry i cant turn up, im sick bla bla bla. Is that diffcult. One word: "WOW".

Anyway moving on.. Her birthday cake, decorated by ME at the icing room. I kinda screwed up at the face.. and had no choice but to use the green icing to "save" it. And the icing bag was hard to use.. should have used my own icing :p


Baby Dylan came to Ris birthday party, and im grateful for it.. Hes so big now, 8 months.. And his 1st mth present was only given to him 7 mths later hahaha.. And its his first toy somemore.. tsk tsk..

The top left one is a gift from my cousin sis, vanessa, the doggy was a gift from Ris`s daddy(its actually a miracle he would buy it cause it costs $50+sgd and he is NOT the type to spend this kinda $ on a toy totally!). The bottom present is from Esther and the ang baos is from my aunties and uncles.

Trying out her new walker cum wagon! Wanted to buy this at first but hubby said ris gonna walk soon so dont waste $ to buy. Thankgod i didnt buy. And thanks to my sis for this AWESOME present..

And not forgetting my present i bought earlier for her. A learning home


On 17 February, i brought Rislin to explorer kids. on the way there, it was a frustrating experience in the MRT.

1) I stood about 6-7 stations before i was offered a seat in the mrt with a obvious tummy bulging (bloating) , carrying Ris, because once i put her down she cry. Which i didnt say anything or even complain or give killer stares because i was "used to it".

2)Rislin suddenly felt that she was sleepy and she wanna sleep. So she started her uber fussy+crying which everyone felt annoyed in the train as her fussing+crying is REALLY loud and her 5seconds feels like forever.

No matter standing carrying or trying to comfort her by letting her stand works. She was way too frustrated. And the indian man sitting beside me keep repeating that she is thirsty, she wants water bla bla bla. So in frustration hubby told him to please understand that as well as he is frustrated, we are too as we cant keep her quiet at all while trying to comfort her. Well the man got angry and got off at the next stop and the best thing is that we will reach our destination in about 4 stops so no point we get off the mrt.

In desperation, i tried to breastfeed her but i was wearing my maternity shirt thus is a bit "tight" fitting kind so when i take my shirt to bf her while covering as much as possible i still showed quite a bit of skin. And while rislin is crying and latching, she unlatched a few times to cry thus showing a bit of my nipple to the people sitting beside me.

Everyone was giving me disgusted look especially the chinese uncle sitting 2 seats away. Im like, what the freak is wrong with you all. Dont tell me you never seen nipples before in your whole life and breastfeeding is the MOST NATURAL thing a mum can give her daughter and just to pacify her i had no choice but to try it.

Well in the end hubby couldn`t stand the disgusted and dagger stares from the rest of the commuters, we gave her biscuit to munch. And the "best thing" is that although it stops rislin from crying, but if anyone snap our pic to stomp or if authories fine us for giving our baby girl to eat to stop her frm crying. Not as if anyone is going to help us pay the fine or something. Why cant others be more understanding instead of using as first resort.

Some thoughts to ponder upon:
Are we really living in SUCH a SELF CENTERED world by almost everyone becoming SELF CENTERED by thinking of themselves only?

Anyway moving on.. Im proud that Ris is already 12mths old/1 year old and is STILL breastfeeding..

And hubby bought a cute love bug balloon which she loves at only $2.90 to entertain her while we try our first wii playing at nebo.
