I really dont know to feel angry/upset at this sight i saw today.

A lady at fairprice carrying a infant about 2-3mths old VERY active and not at anyway sick. She approached me asking if i could buy over her fairprice $30 voucher as her child is sick and she has no money for doctor.

I found her suspicious so i didnt buy over. The voucher is given by CDAC as it could be collected today. And with the chop im VERY sure that it is. So we left the place after grocery shopping, and walked for a bit, then when we were heading to the mrt station to go home.

We saw the same lady taking 2-3sets of MACDONALD MEAL, walking to the other side where it leads to HDB flats. Why would this mother lie about her child sick when she used the money to buy the meals of macdonald? If shes so desperate about it why cant she wait till afternoon then she buy, its almost half the price difference as she upsized the meal.

I really have mixed feelings about her. Husband gave her a benefit of doubt and said that maybe cause she has money remaining after seeing doctor. But there are all private clinics and one consultation and medication is at least 30+.. she wont have enough or even have left over for so many meals. And why would she lie about... her child just to have mealS of macdonald..?
